By Muni from downtown San Francisco, Take the underground Market Street K, L, or M streetcar lines (Muni), and ride outbound beyond the Castro Street Station through the Twin Peaks Tunnel. The station at the other end of the Tunnel is West Portal. When you get off the streetcar and walk out to the front of the station, you turn left and walk a half block to Claremont. Turn right and walk up the hill (best on the far side of Claremont) to Portola. Cross Portola and turn left and walk up Portola to the second right, which is Santa Paula. Our house is number 70 Santa Paula, which is the 3rd house from the far end of the block on the right side. The number is on the garage and we have a picket fence.
By Car from Downtown If you are driving in from the East Bay, drive to Market Street and take it towards Twin Peaks until it turns into Portola. Follow Portola over Twin Peaks and on the far side look for a pedestrian overpass. (the overpass will be at a street called Miraloma, do not take). You will be facing the Pacific Ocean at this time. Go under the overpass and take the next left (San Pablo), then the next right (Santa Monica), and then right again (Santa Paula). We are #70 the third house on the left.
By Car from the East Bay
Drive over the Bay Bridge and follow the signs for 101 South. After you pass the exit for Caesar Chavez Street, take the exit for Highway 280 South towards Daly City. Exit on Monterey Blvd. Stay on Monterey ( which will turn into Santa Clara Ave. ) until you reach a large cross street and traffic light called Portola Drive (approximately 1.5 miles from the exit after going through a wooded neighborhood). Turn right on Portola, and then take the second right hand turn, onto Santa Paula. Our house is number 70 on the right hand side at the 15 mph. sign.
By Car from the North After you cross the Golden Gate Bridge head south to 19th Ave. Turn right onto Ulloa, go around the block by turning left on 20th and the left again on Vicenti. Stay on Vicenti all the way to Portola (one block beyond West Portal). Turn left onto Portola, and take the second right onto Santa Paula. Our house is number 70 Santa Paula, which is the 3rd house from the far end of the block on the right side, just before the Speed Limit 15mph sign. The number is on the garage and we have a picket fence.
